چکیده

ABSTRACT We present an extensive analysis of the late-time mid-infrared (mid-IR) evolution Type IIb SN 1993J from 10–26 yr post-explosion based on archival – mostly previously unpublished photometric data Spitzer Space Telescope in conjunction with InfraRed Spectrograph spectrum. is one best-studied supernovae (SNe) decade-long multiwavelength set published various papers; however, its detailed mid-IR still missing literature. Mid-IR follow not just continuously cooling ejecta but also dust-formation and circumstellar-interaction processes. provide evidence that observed excess can be described by presence two-component local dust a mass ?(3.5–6.0) × 10?3 M? case partly silicate-based composition. The source these components could either newly formed grains or heating pre-existing via ongoing circumstellar matter interaction detected at other wavelengths. If it formed, assumed to located both unshocked inner outer cold dense shell, as Cassiopeia A remnant dust-forming SNe few years after explosion.

EARLY NEAR-INFRARED OBSERVATIONS OF SN 1993J K.Matthews,

Photometric observations in the near-infrared atmospheric windows from 1.25 to 3.7 lm and spectrographic observations from 1.2 to 2.4 lm are presented of supernova SN 1993J for 250 days after the outburst. After an initial rise to a secondary maximum the infrared observations show an exponential drop much like the visual observations. At day 130 after the outburst, however, the 3.7 lm data show...

Sn 1993j Vlbi (iii): the Evolution of the Radio Shell

A sequence of images of supernova 1993J at 30 epochs, from 50 d to ∼ 9 yr after shock breakout, shows the evolution of the expanding radio shell of an exploded star in detail. The images were obtained from 24 observing sessions at 8.4 GHz and 19 at 5.0 GHz and from our last session at 1.7 GHz. The images are all phase-referenced to the stable reference point of the core of the host galaxy M81. ...

Simulated Radio Images and Light Curves of SN 1993J

We present calculations of the radio images and light curves from supernovae, based on high-resolution numerical simulations of the hydrodynamics and radiation transfer in a spherically symmetric medium. As a specific example we model the emission from SN1993J. This supernova does not appear to be expanding in a self-similar fashion, and cannot be adequately fitted with the often-used analytic ...

The role of synchrotron self-absorption in the late radio emission from SN 1993J

The standard model for radio supernovae considers that the observed synchrotron radio emission arises from the high-energy shell that results from the strong interaction between the expanding supernova ejecta and the circumstellar medium. This emission is considered to be only partially absorbed by ionized thermal electrons in the circumstellar wind of the progenitor star. Based on a study of t...
